For over ten years, Kristen has provided companies with exceptional accounting, project control, contract administration, human resources, tactical planning and management consulting services either as an employee or consultant. Her focus on details combined with her expertise and “get- it- done” attitude has earned her recognition as the “go to” employee and consultant.
Kristen’s expertise covers government contracting accounting and compliance with GAAP and DCAA requirements and the development and implementation of related compliant policies and procedures; training, facilitation, elicitation and development of requirements and all aspects of accounting to include timekeeping/labor/payroll, expenses/accounts payable, billing/accounts receivable and general ledger. She also has experience and expertise with Deltek products, QuickBooks, Excel, & ADP solutions.
Over the years Kristen has participated in numerous audit preparation projects (DCAA pre-awards and incurred cost submissions, annual financial statement audits, bank audits and payroll related audits), pricing exercises, project transition management, software implementations, policy review & remediation projects, acquisition integration and strategic development discussions for her employers and clients. She performs exceptionally in high visibility, time critical environments working as a team leader, team member or individual contributor.
Kristen graduated from the University of Dayton in May 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She received a certificate from George Mason University in February 2014 in “Contracting with the Federal Government” and from Shipley & Associates in October 2014 in “Winning in the Cost Volume, Pricing to Win”. She also attended “Introduction to CMMI for Services in January 2015 at the CMMI Institute.
